PERAK INVITATIONAL AGE GROUP (PIAG) SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP 2018

We have been invited to participate in PIAG 2018. This is an inaugural swimming meet, organised by Persatuan Renang Amateur Perak. It will be held in the the Akuatik Amanjaya from the 20th to 22nd of July 2018. The team will travel on the 19th.

The Swimming Section Committee has decided that we will participate, but it will be a self funded event. A bus will only be used if there are a minimum of 20 swimmers on board and the cost will be shared among all those who are using the transport. If there are not enough for a bus, every one is encouraged to travel to Ipoh by themselves.

This meet is open to Masters Swimmers, who will swim in the Open category (18 years and above). The events for Open are 400m freestyle, 800m freestyle, 1500m freestyle, 400m individual medley.

Closing date for PSC registration is 15 June 2018.

PASA State Age Group Swimming Championships 2018

Dates: 26, 27 and 28 January 2018

Venue: MBPP Relau Sports Complex

Registration closing date: 16 Dec 2017, 5pm. PASA’s closing date is the 25th of December 2017, so please ensure that you have all the documents below so that we do not have come back to you to get more.

(a) only if you are above 18 – PASA 2018 over 18 indemnity

(b) if you are below 18 years old – PASA 2018 under 18 indemnity

(c) please include passport photo, copy of IC/birth cert/passport – Registration Form for year 2018

The team has been invited to participate in this swim meet. However, as this is not a club sanctioned event we will not be sending an official team. If any swimmer wishes to participate, please download the entry forms, complete and hand to Coach Heng by the 15th of August 2017. All entries must be submitted by the Club.

6th Selangor Short Course 2017

We have been invited to participate in the 6th Selangor Short Course. It will be held from the 28th to 30th July 2017. To qualify for club sponsorship, please take part in the time trials on the 16th of June – qualify 3 events for sponsorship. The qualifying times will be on the section notice board. Sponsored swimmers must swim a minimum of 8 individual events.

The meet will be in a 25m swimming pool at the Pusat Akuatik Shah Alam. We encourage as many swimmers to participate as this is the only 25m competition we take part in for the entire calendar. Swimmers will need to have excellent starts, turns and finishes to be competitive.

Singapore Island Country Club Swimming Championships 2017

We have been invited to compete at the 13th SICC Open Swimming Championships 2017. It will be held at the Singapore Island Country Club, on the 12th and 13th of August – 8.30am to 5pm. This competition is open for swimmers aged 7 and under to 18 years and over. Therefore, we can have Master Swimmers at this competition too.

Age Computation as of 31 December 2017

18 years & Over – Born in 1999 and Earlier

16 – 17 years – Born in 2000 & 2001

14 – 15 years – Born in 2002 & 2003

12 – 13 years – Born in 2004 & 2005

10 – 11 years – Born in 2006 & 2007

8 – 9 years – Born in 2008 & 2009
7 years & Under – Born in 2010 & Later

A registration fee of S$100 (Inclusive of 7% GST) per swimmer is levied. Registered swimmers, Team Managers and Assistant Team Managers are provided 1 Lunch on 12 August and 1 Award Ceremony Lunch on 13 August).

All swimming events are in the Info Pack.

Closing date for registration is 15th of June 2017 as we must submit to SICC by the first week of July. As this is not a club event, all costs are borne by the swimmer and the swimmer must make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. The Team Manager will be appointed by the Swimming Section Committee.

SPORTEXCEL/MILO/NSC/ASUM JUNIOR SWIMMING CIRCUIT 2017 – 1st LEG

Milo 1 will be held at the Pusat Akuatik Darul Ehsan, in Shah Alam Selangor from the 22nd to 23rd of April 2017. The team will travel down on the 21st and return on the 23rd. Parents are welcome to come and support the team.
