SPORTEXCEL/MILO/NSC/ASUM JUNIOR SWIMMING CIRCUIT 2016 – 1st LEG

This is a swim meet to encourage younger swimmers to compete. Only Malaysians are eligible for this meet and national swimmers are not allowed to compete. This will be conducted in three legs – the first leg is in Malacca. It will be held on the 23rd and 24th of April 2016, at the Pusat Akuatik Hang Jebat.

The PSC Swim Team will travel to Malacca on the 22nd and return on the 24th, after the meet. The events are as follows:

Day 1

50m backstroke

100m breast stroke

50m butterfly

100m freestyle

Day 2

100m butterfly

50m breast stroke

100m backstroke

50m freestyle

Coach Heng will put up the qualifying times for sponsorship on the notice board. If you do not qualify, but wish to participate please pay RM220 to our Treasurer, Jesslyn. This will cover event fees, transportation, accommodation and food.

Milo Sports Excel 2014 – 1st leg – Malacca 3 to 4 May 2014

The PSC swim team travelled to Malacca, on the 2nd of May to participate in the 1st leg of the Milo Sports Excel swim meet. We had a team of 21 swimmers and at the end of the weekend, finished in 3rd place, with 702 points. It was a tiring but good trip.

The team collected 3 medals:

(a) Chew Ho Yeng – 50m freestyle girls 10 & under – silver

(b) Chew Ho Yeng – 50m backstroke girls 10 & under – bronze

(c) Kelly Glynn Devan – 100m backstroke girls 13 – 14 – silver

Congratulations to the medalists! We look forward to another event next month.
