11th Kedah Invitational Swimming Championship 2014

Our PSC Swim Team did us proud again! We came out in 1st place in the medals table for the 4th time, since 2011.

Our medal tally was 55 pieces:

Gold – 29

Silver – 16

Bronze – 10

Overall, the team did very well with 5 meet records broken. These were achieved by Joel Darren Kung, Jesselyn Lim, Elynn Tan and Ashley Chew.

We are very proud of our disciplined and hardworking swimmers. The results reflect the children’s commitment and dedication to the sport. The ability to jump into the pool every day and put 100% commitment and focus into the training, not to mention getting up at 6.30 in the morning on the weekends to train is commendable. Not every child or parent is as committed and so we want to thank them for their dedication and hard work. Deep appreciation to our coaches and committee members who ensure that our swimmers are well looked after; on the pool deck, in the bleachers and outside of the pool. Without them, it would be impossible to forge such well oiled machinery, which is our PSC Swim Team.

Our next swim meet will be the President’s Cup, in Kuala Lumpur at the end of the month.
