An open dialogue will be conducted by the Main Committee as stated in the attachment.
This dialogue will mainly deal with some important issue about the PSC Swim Team and also the training.
Therefore we highly appreciate if you could take your time to attend and give us your full support.
We need you to voice your view rationally so that all of us could reach the best decisions to make our Swim
Team stronger and uplift the profile of PSC.
Swimming Section has been granted an extension to conduct training on Sundays and Public Holidays until
the 15th of September, so the training schedule remains unchanged until 15-09-2014.
We shall update the progress of this issue from time to time.
Dear Swimming Section Members,
It is with regret that I must inform you that the Main Committee has decided to uphold the Club By-Law Pools 5. The Main Pool shall not be reserved for any Club training activities on Sundays and Public Holidays, page 43, year 2013.
This action was deemed necessary after a complaint made by 12 members. Despite valiant efforts by our Swimming Section committee and a petition signed by over 300 club members, the Main Committee decided that it is their prerogative to enforce this by-law.
I regret that training for the PSC swim team must now be carried out in an external pool for Sundays and public holidays, from the 1st of September 2014. This will be an additional cost that will be incurred and we are unsure who will be responsible for payment at this time.
As at today, the 25th of August 2014, I have not been able to identify an available pool and will inform you once we have a final decision.
Thank you for your patience and continued support.
Lee Chye Seng
